THE LONG WINTER!

This has been the worst winter we have ever had thanks to the Polar Vortex. Of course Jared was gone during the worst of it and the kids and I were stranded at home for many days.... so we had lots of quality play time.

One of the rare days we were actually able to go outside to play in the snow since it wasn't too frigid cold
Merick is always the life of the party!

One of my favorite parts about our house is that the hill in our back yard is perfect for sledding for our young kids. So they can go sled in the backyard themselves and we don't have to go anywhere!

The boys have put many miles on their vehicles doing bike/scooter races around the house this winter.

Luckily Van has recently become interested in doing artwork and love to draw as you can see by the many pieces of artwork now hanging in our toy room. We have done many art projects this winter.

A day at the Pittsburgh Children's museum on a rare day that the roads were decent enough to drive there

Thank you legos for helping us survive long winter days! Even Ward will sit and build for a long time!

9 months and still such a happy girl!

Ward is obsessed with  tools. He spends hours putting screws in this wood and then sanding it down, sawing, hammering and doing it over and over again while pretending to build all kinds of things.
Many afternoons of dress-up!

  1. Suzy you are such a great mom! I don't envy you being stuck inside with young children. The kids all look so fun and cute. I wish we knew them better!
