WARDY IS 1! HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Ward's favorite things include:

       Eating! Especially fruit

Walking laps around the house all day long while carrying, pushing or pulling anything he can get his hands on, especially my bags of groceries

 Trying to do big boy things like his brother, and also trying to sneak Van's favorite toys when he's not looking

   Being with Mommy and playing with Daddy, but no one else can hold him or he is not happy

                                                              and playing outside!

Visit from Grammy

Grammy came to visit and watched the boys while I got so much done, and helped get rid of all the ugly wallpaper upstairs!

EASTER

In Wheeling the Easter Bunny likes to ring the doorbell and hop away leaving the easter baskets behind.

We hosted an Easter egg hunt and BBQ for the other residents and their families in our ward.

On the Go

These boys are happiest if they riding, pushing, or doing anything where they can move!

Our new van which I love, especially since I regularly have to haul all of the on-the-go vehicles all the time everywhere we go.

Ward can already ride the electric vroom-vroom by himself, he just wants to do everything Van can do and he is very determined.

Happy to be able to walk like his brother!

For weeks before Ward could walk, all he wanted to do was push things around all day long. He would do speedwalking laps around the house with his push toys.

Visits from Haltermans

Jared's parents came for a visit and were nice enough to drive all the way from Arizona so they could bring us their old minivan we bought from them. We watched conference, worked on house project and had a great time!

Ward was pretty scared of grandma, and anyone else who isn't his mother!

Ward took his first steps while grandma and grandpa were here, mostly out of desperation to get to mom when someone else was holding him.

SPRING

We went on a family vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio, and indoor waterpark hotel. It was great, Van loved it as long as he stuck to the small slides!

We reluctantly cut Van's shaggy hair since he was always tilting his head up to see anything! These boys love to play in their toy jeep together!
