Both of these kiddos are growing up too fast, I wish I could just pause time for a little to enjoy these ages a little bit longer (maybe with the addition of some extra sleep though!)

This guy loves to play with balls! And his hair seems to only be getting more red every day!

He is getting to be a pretty fast crawler. His favorite thing is to try to get to the cat food before I can put it away or get to the cat before she can escape!

CHRISTMAS

2 sick kids on Christmas morning. Van was so sick, but seeing all the presents gave him some energy for a while.

Our Christmas activities were pretty limited this year since Van was so sick, but this is the cookie he made for Santa to eat.

We didn't realize how mobile Ward was until I left the room to get something and he had managed to get himself in the tent by the time I came back.

Life

Van turned three. He had a party with his friends (which we forgot to take a picture of)

"Wardy" as we call him is only happy if he is trying to pull himself up on something and loves to army crawl around. He is becoming more mobile every day and never wants to sleep because he would rather practice all of his new moves in his crib day and night.

We love having an unfinished basement in the winter. We have already spent many hours pretend camping in the tent, and riding vroom-vrooms.

This is Van's favorite library book currently. He has been "reading" it for the last week. Thought it deserved a video. Love that smart boy! Video degraded somewhat with upload, have to believe that he gets 95% of the words exactly right.
